Ni hao, this week my school chose a group of students to visit the Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery. I was lucky enough to be chosen to be part of the trip along with my friend Xyryll.
We were all called to the learning commons at 9am. All of the students were gathered there and after a few minutes we then formed a line (alphabetically) to board the bus. The drive was about 15 – 30 minutes then we arrived.
We were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. we started the tour around the temple. We then had soome kai and they gave us some chocolate cake. After 10 minutes we went in to a room and did some calligraphy the watched a movie about buddha. We even did some meditating because buddha did meditating to feel himself.
It was a really fun experience and i hope i could go back and visit the Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery again.
